Amazing Taste

Went there for lunch it's a quiet take out place with a few tables. I sat there and had my lunch in the takeout box. The jerk chicken had a very nice flavor but not enough heat. The french fries were crispy and soft inside with a nice seasoning on it. The macaroni and cheese was also delicious. Best part of this was I had leftovers for later. I would recommend going to this place if you are in the neighborhood.

If you’re thinking about coming here, RUN! The food is amazing ( as the name implies). I was genuinely surprised because I had a bad experience at another location. I am so glad we tried again, everything was piping hot and delicious. The store was clean, staff was friendly & we ate right in the car.I thought I’d wait to get home but it smelled too good and I fell in love. I will be back, and soon!

The name speaks for itself. The food definitely hits the soul. I ordered bbq chicken dinner with mac n cheese and collard greens. Hands down incredibly delicious. Enjoyed the sides as well. Cornbread, oxtail empanada, and candy yams were on point. This place will now be a common spot for my family to dine.

I've been enjoying this spot for years, I've even worked here, got fired for not keeping up, and still can undoubtedly say Bro. Joshua, and his family holds this establishment to a high regard, sanitation, food prep, and cooking is delivered in a professional manner so exquisite, that the expectation exceeds that of NUMEROUS KITCHENS, I've worked for in the past (i.e. The Grand formerly known as The Bethwood, The Brownstone, etc) The consistency with cooking, and sanitary standards, is above what's expected. Thanks for the no nonsense bootcamp, in how real businesses are ran, and most importantly thanks for delicious CLEAN FOOD (IYKYK!) I appreciate it AMAZING TASTE FOR THE WIN!

I was recommended to come here from a coworker, This place was fantastic I’m coming from south Jersey so I drove over an hour to check this place out and I was not disappointed.. The wait was pretty long but it was worth it I had the fish and garlic parm salmon with Mac and yams.. bussing!!! Even after driving back home to eat it didn’t have that crunch but what you expect after a hour drive home. It was very flavorful.. the desserts were def the highlight.. that butter crunch pudding or the Oreo pudding was to die for and I highly recommend getting a dessert every time u slide here.. def will be coming back very very soon

Amazing doesn't even cover it. Ordered Oxtails in a gravy I've never seen before that turned out to be succulent as ever! Also ordered Jerked chicken with collard greens and mac&cheese. Also, outstanding. They have several types of pudding and bean cake available. We chose the Nutty Buddy Banana Pudding. Never had Nutty Buddy's like that! Fantastic addition!!! They're corn bread was a large square and surprisingly moist not too sweet! Love you guys! Thank you for a terrific lunch! Will be back when I'm up there again in the future! Sorry I didn't get a picture of the Ox Tails.

Food was outstanding. I've been here a few times before during off times and the food is always consistently delicious. Went on a Friday evening, had to order in person. No phone orders, which was mildly frustrating but okay. Had the fried whiting platter for the first time. It's a favorite for a reason. Excellent. And I always get jerk fries and Mac and cheese for my sides. My wife got shrimp with Mac and fries. She's picky and loved everything. Love the butter crunch cookies and cream pudding and I'm not a dessert person. Well run and can't wait to try something new again.

First off love how respect the staff was with the customers and each other and worked as a team . Food was delicious I had the fried whitinngs , Mac& cheese , yams and potato salad. and the lemonade was wonderful u can taste the freshness of it and it wasn’t bitter . Highly recommend this place. You can tell they put the soul in the food
